Informetric Systems releases AgileDoc® 2.0 for DeltaV

March 26, 2010 - Informetric Systems has released installation media for AgileDoc 2.0 for DeltaV. AgileDoc enables automatic generation of Software Lifecycle (SLC) documentation, thus decreasing engineering costs and ensuring that critical system documents are always up-to-date and accurate.

AgileDoc 2.0 is based on Informetric's InfoBatch framework. Major advancements associated with Version 2.0 are unattended uploads from DeltaV Control Studio, significantly faster report generation, a structured report configurator, and multi-DeltaV system installation support. A significant functional enhancement associated with the 2.0 framework is the ability to incorporate document content from external data sources. In addition, metadata such as full text descriptions and annotation can be managed under change control through the AgileDoc Configurator.

AgileDoc Web Client with SFC

The AgileDoc 2.0 web client enables the site administrator to configure structured hierarchies corresponding to DeltaV control elements. For example, a recipe hierarchy can provide S88-based navigation to procedures, while a physical hierarchy can display units and associated control modules. In addition, authorized users can interactively query and drill-down through DeltaV control elements through the web client.

AgileDoc is used by the leading pharmaceutical and biotech companies to manage automation system documentation. AgileDoc has been used for a wide range of documentation tasks, ranging from Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS) to automated Test Scripts. AgileDoc is well suited for generating Detailed Design Specifications (DDS) associated with a variety of automation functions, including batch recipes, phase sequence logic, continuous control modules and unit configurations.

AgileDoc 2.0 is available immediately.
